We Lions “Work hard and Play hard”, and to do this we arrange various social functions for the members to meet and enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere.

We organise the annual Charter Dinner, where we celebrate our birthday and invite friends, supporters and  fellow Lions from neighbouring and District Clubs to join us for a party.
Our Christmas Dinner comes at the end of our busy collection period in the run-up to the Christmas festivities, where we let-our-hair-down and reflect on a very active December.

The Hand-Over function (normally a lunch or an evening meal) is around June and is where all the committees complete their Lion year and new committees are selected.
Partners are welcome at all of our events as we recognise that we could not achieve very much without their support.
The highlight of the “summer” is usually an afternoon barbeque again cooked and served by Lion members and enjoyed by partners and friends.

There are several other events (e.g. Burns Night, Valentines, Halloween etc) that are also offered to members where we either organise something ourselves or along with other groups who are active in the Trowbridge area.
The Admin Committee also arrange our meeting venues and are very grateful to our hosts at Trowbridge Cricket Club for allowing the use of their facilities.
